Dandy boy adventures f95zone11/9/2023 ![]() and this eroge might actually get 5-star rating once it is complete.Īnother little nitpick is the gallery, while being nicely made it doesn't show animated scenes, but just one frame of the scene. I just like to nitpick little details so I don't have to give another eroge 5 stars. But there is no fucking way there will be a use for every single building, some people might say it is just decoration, and it is making the city feel more like a city. The first complaint I have is how large some parts of the map are for no apparent reason, I know this game is still getting updates, and it might make use of some of those buildings someday. I would give this game 5 stars, but I am an asshole, and I like complaining, and secondly, I promised myself to give 5stars only to two eroges, one of them is on this site, and another one isn't even translated yet (Slice of venture origins, Popotan). This game becomes even harder when you realize you have to play it only with one hand. While some people might take this as a disadvantage, I enjoy being rewarded after solving hard puzzles, not just solving puzzles in a few minutes to get the reward quickly. While being my 3rd favorite eroge ever, this game manages to achieve many eroges fail to do. It'd be better to focus on holding strong to the character development writing skills you all have than to rush to adult content midway. The minigames feel like they have more depth than the girls when I went through them. ![]() (For example, Amy x Sunny would've been a great scene to have a double BJ -> a new angle of doggy and you should feel free-er to escape the VN overlay format for these scenes and cover the screen with pure animation and a text box). However, for a unique scene, I think the girls deserve dedicated animations which also hold secondary animations within them. ![]() It's fine to reuse animations for intermediate quests during a girl's questline. The challenges are fun and I played about an hour a day for a total of 6-8 hours with all saves combined. The only reason I give it a 3/5 is primarily due to how high the developers set the bar for their own game and my expectations for animations and small random pieces of the game (such as getting stuck in the Halloween event as a bug, or the warehouse issue where you can get perma-stuck, or the UI complexity which could be improved a lot on even though it's adaptable). It is probably one of the best games on the site. The game has great writing and direction. My last point is that, if you want to have a great lust-filled session, this game isn't for that. The game should also hard-lock the player early game for the first school day with a slightly stronger guide because the exploration opportunities are pretty great for new players. I am a fan of reusing models but I do feel the creativity the rest of the game has isn't given to the animations or lustful scenes. It feels like we get 3 frames for all our work to get to a character's sex scene and due to the models being reused, it does feel like the same shot often. It's just the animations were very underwhelming. Comparatively, to the rest of the game, the animations of this game are the weakest link. I also relate to the development struggle and need to reuse some poses, but the rewards for players moving through character story arcs may feel repetitive at times in terms of sex scenes. I'm fine with the grind but the next issue is the lack of diversity. Yet again, the game also makes things very grindy. Yes, there's hints of lore but compared to the build-up of characters outside of sex, it feels sudden to be fucking immediately. You have a very, very slow start to a sudden arrival or horniness that's not explained too well. Then, to make up for its adult content, it cuts out a lot of character development in the later stage of each character's questlins. Thus, I feel a lot of the time the game detracts from its adult content and character development. In a game sense, this game does have some flaws in regards to how ambitious it is with minigames. As a regular game, I think it's a 4.5/5 but if you're someone looking for adult content, I don't think this is the best game. It has a great vibe and lots of nostalgia. 4-4.5/5 for me if I was looking at it simply as a non-adult game.Īs a regular game, I find it pretty enjoyable and it reminds me of Miniclip era games. Still worth the play as a very casual experience. It is a very beautifully crafted game in an general sense though. TLDR: Animations were consistently disappointing. I want to clarify, this rating is looking at this game as a H-Game. I don’t know that I would say I spend an inordinate amount of time thinking about the Roman Empire, at least not as much as many of the men in my life apparently do. If you spend much time thinking about the Roman Empire, they’re bound to come up eventually. It turns out that thinking about the chickens may be a worthwhile endeavor after all. He then went on to suffer the greatest naval defeat of the war and returned to Rome in shame. He allegedly responded to the chicken priest’s report that if the chickens didn’t want to eat, perhaps they could drink, and he ordered them all thrown overboard. On this particular day, the chickens did not prove hungry, but Pulcher was not going to be told what to do by a bunch of bird-brained soothsayers. Image by Emilian Robert Vicol from Pixabay It seems reasonable to assume that if these creatures don’t feel like eating, it might be an ominous sign. If not, then perhaps Pulcher would have been better off planning his attack for another day. If the chickens decided to eat, that would have been a sign of good luck. He asked his friendly neighborhood pullarius (Latin for chicken priest, just in case that ever comes up in conversation), who offered feed to the chickens and waited to see what would happen. As one evidently does while in Rome, he consulted the sacred chickens. The story goes that during the First Punic War between Rome and Carthage, Roman consul and naval commander Publius Claudius Pulcher decided to attack the Carthaginian fleet at in the harbor of Drepana off the western coast of Sicily. An oddly large percentage of men responded that they do think about the Roman Empire fairly often. It started as an Instagram post turned Tik-Tok trend with a couple of Swedish influencers challenging women to ask the men in their lives how often they think about the Roman Empire. That is until we all started thinking about the Roman Empire so much.Īctually, maybe you haven’t been thinking about the Roman Empire all that much lately. There, you'll find a bio and social media links, that actor's most famous roles and their filmography - which will include where you can watch those shows, in both libraries and services accessible to you. Right now, Plex wants to help you learn about what you're watching. Then, Plex got more dynamic, adding an ad-supported streaming service that offers free TV and movies, and it also connects to other free streaming services. Originally, Plex was a way to utilize videos stored in a remote location, so you could streams them on a device. You can refer to Plex as a streaming service, because that is technically true. Deep conversations to have11/9/2023 ![]() Unfortunately, these assumptions likely govern how we interact with people we don’t know well in our day-to-day lives. Throughout the experiments in this study, a simple theme emerged: Our expectations about how conversations with strangers will go often run in a negative direction. Participants who were told beforehand that people tend to underestimate how much strangers will care about each other’s answers selected significantly more of the deeper questions than did participants who were told people tend to overestimate the caring of strangers. For example, in one experiment participants were able to choose from a list of shallower and deeper questions to answer with a stranger. The researchers hypothesized that the reason people have such a tendency to avoid deeper conversations with strangers is because they believe strangers won’t care about their answers or find them interesting.Įxperiments bore this out. ![]() “Not only does having a deep conversation with another person seem to be a surprisingly positive experience, it seems to be more positive than having a shallow conversation,” write the researchers. They also overestimated the awkwardness of the conversation. They underestimated how interested they and their conversation partner would be in each other’s answers, as well as how connected and happy they’d feel afterward. ![]() Overall, participants weren’t very good at predicting how the conversation would go. To feel more connected, skip the small talk and ask these questions instead. After 10 minutes spent discussing the deep questions with their partner, participants answered questions about how the conversation actually went. In the study’s first set of experiments, the researchers told participants that they would answer and discuss four deep questions with a stranger, like, “For what in your life do you feel most grateful?” and “Can you describe a time you cried in front of another person?”Īfter reading the questions, but before meeting their randomly assigned conversation partner, participants predicted how interested they would be in hearing the other person’s answers, how interested they expected the other person would be in hearing their answers, how awkward they would feel during the conversation, how much they would like the other person, and how happy they would feel about the conversation. The study raises a question for all of us: What if we took more chances in connecting with strangers? And now what about that second one? And the two of them have 18 keys combined. But that's ways that weĬan mathematically write that first sentence. Manipulation to go from one to the other. So we could write it like that, we could also write it that the difference between the number of keys Leo has and the number of keys Hazel has is four, so another alternative, weĬould have written it like this, Leo minus Hazel is equal to four, and these are algebraically equivalent, it doesn't take much Is four more than the number Hazel has, so it's Hazel plus four. Opening links in new tab with limechat11/8/2023 Having links open in the same tab reduces the chance of mobiles users getting lost or unable to locate a previous tab.Given the small screen size of mobile devices, it can be difficult for people to navigate between tabs and can create confusion if a user doesn’t know a link just opened in a new tab. “Newer screen readers alert the user when a link opens a new window, though only after the user clicks on the link. For example, WebAIM, an organization that leads the way with tools and resources for web accessibility, explains how these kinds of links can cause issues for users using screen readers: Opening links in a new tab can quickly cause usability issues.Opening in the same tab also keeps the “back button” as an option for users to return to the previous page, which they wouldn’t be able to utilize if they were in a new tab and maybe didn’t know it. Older screen readers do not alert the user at all. If a user prefers that links open in a new tab, they can open the link in a new tab using a right-click or by continuing to press down on the link on a mobile device.Having links open in the same tab eliminates this issue and helps make sure our websites are accessible for all of our users. Then when they try to click on the Back button in the browser, nothing happens, because there is no previous link to go back to in a new window or tab.” Sighted users can see the new window open, but users with cognitive disabilities may have difficulty interpreting what just happened. This option is always available to users no matter how a link is set to open. Keeping links set to open in the same tab allows users of different preferences to engage with your website in the way they like best.If a user prefers for links to open in the same tab, but the link is set to open in a new tab, the user is forced to adapt to this linking behavior or they can leave your website. The only time it is recommended that you open a link in a new tab is when opening in the same screen would interrupt a process (e.g. when a user is filling out a form or viewing a video). Linking in the same tab or screen in these situations could cause the user to lose the work they’ve done or have to start over. Linking to a new tab in these cases can help the user find additional information without causing issues or forcing the user to start over.
